"Welcome Letter
from President"
Welcome to the
Myanmar Association Inc. web site. We are launching this site
on the third anniversary of the establishment of our
Association. We are using Internet technology as a tool to
network with our members and to share information and
experiences with our Myanmar friends all over the world.
Let me take this
opportunity to welcome all our Myanmar friends, near and far,
from all walks of life and from all ethnic backgrounds. We all
have one love - the country of our birth, we all have one goal
- the development of our country in peace and prosperity, we
all have one aspiration - to seek truth and happiness, however
we perceive these to be.
This site is a work
in progress and I would like to express my deep appreciation
to the members of the Information Sub-Committee and the Web
Development Team of ShweInc.com. Without their deep
commitment, unflagging efforts and patriotism, nothing that
you see today would have been possible.
All I can say is I am
humbled by the way young people of today can make things
happen. So let us move together from strength to strength, in
harmony and efficiency.
